Sunset Strip Welcomes New Drummer, Brad E. Lee

It was an emotional night last weekend when Sunset Strip performed their last full-band show with original drummer and founding member, Chico Torres. It seemed as though the entire city of Rockford came out to The Verdi Club to bid farewell to an era and a loved member of the band. Chico is a great guy and always made time for fans. The band performed 2 blistering sets of bad-ass 80's anthems and closed the show with Chico's choice, Sweet Child O'Mine by Guns N' Roses. Chico will be performing the first 1/2 of the set with the band on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Splitter's Bar & Grill in Loves Park, IL. The band will be presenting him with a special farewell gift and then he'll ceremoniously hand-off the sticks to his replacement, Brad  E. Lee.

Brad is a stellar drummer and is no stranger to the band. He has filled in with Sunset Strip on several occasions in the past when Chico has needed a night off here and there. If you haven't met him yet, this is a great chance to do so!
